Pathways Financial Credit Union is now a participating credit union in the Ohio Homebuyer Plus program! This program is designed to assist Ohio residents like you in achieving the dream of homeownership by offering specialized, tax-advantaged savings accounts. We believe that investing in Ohio means investing in your future, and we are committed to supporting you on your homebuying journey.
Grant Benefits
Up to $200 Reimbursement
As a token of our appreciation, we're offering to reimburse teachers up to $200 towards the purchase of school supplies.
But wait, there's more! Teachers can earn an additional $50 by opening a Swipe2Save checking account and completing one of the following within 60 days of opening:
- Complete one (1) direct deposit of at least $100 or more, OR
- Complete ten (10) debit card transactions (ATM transactions excluded). Exclusions apply.

At Pathways, we are committed to empowering educators by supporting them with the resources they need to create enriching learning environments. Eligible items for reimbursement include:
- Paper: Various types including writing, printing, and construction paper.
- Pencils: Standard graphite, colored pencils, and mechanical pencils.
- Markers: Dry erase, permanent, and washable markers suitable for educational purposes.
- Pens: Ballpoint, gel, fountain, and felt-tip pens.
- Crayons: Wax and plastic crayons in assorted colors.
- Classroom Decorations: Educational posters, motivational banners, and thematic decorative items that enhance the learning environment.
- Educational Games: Board games, puzzles, and interactive tools that promote learning and engagement in core subjects.
- Books: Fiction and non-fiction titles, reference books, and textbooks that support curriculum goals.
*Please note that the grant does not cover consumable food items, such as snacks or drinks.

Ohio Homebuyer Plus Interest Form
**Homebuyer plus account must be open for a minimum of 6 months to qualify for the credit. A credit of up to $3,000 will be applied towards eligible closing costs on a first position purchase mortgage originated with Pathways Financial Credit Union. The home and borrower must meet all the eligibility requirements as outlined in the Ohio Homebuyer Plus Participation Statement, as issued by the State of Ohio, and Pathways underwriting guidelines. FHA and VA mortgages are excluded from the promotion. The credit has no cash value, and any unused funds will be forfeited. Credit will not count towards pre-paid fees, mortgage insurance, or non-customary closing costs. Limit one credit per mortgage transaction and no more than 1 credit per household per 3 years. Credit cannot be combined with any other offers, discounts, or coupons.
